Interested in Becoming a Member?
Please email [email protected] if you are interested in joining JSA. This way, we can get you on our attendance sheet and ensure that you are getting all of our communication (emails/reminds) and staying in the loop with all things Arrowhead JSA!
What Does it Mean to Become a Member?
Being a member of JSA means you are a student who is interested and invested in participating in a nationwide, student-run group that organizes political debate and rhetoric. All members have a chance to participate in debates, expand their political viewpoints, become more informed on current issues and learn the art of compromise and cooperation. Members are expected to listen respectfully and contribute to positive atmospheres in meetings as well as at conventions. Students also have a chance to experience first-hand the passion of politics, decision making, and drafting of mock legislation!
How Do I Become an Official Member?

Commitment to JSA
The great thing about being involved in an organization like JSA is that you can choose the amount you would like to be involved due to your interest and availability. We have members who attend every meeting, major convention, and chapcon, as well as those who come to certain meetings based on when they are free or if they are interested in the topic, and everything in between! Although we encourage all members to get involved, we understand that it is not always possible, and encourage anyone with an interest in political debate and current issues to become a member of this amazing organization. You won't regret it!
