This is where you can find all types of information regarding Arrowhead JSA's Republican Party. The Republican Party was founded in the Northern States in 1854 by abolitionists and soon became the principle opposite to the Democratic Party. The first official convention of the Democratic Party was held on July 6th, 1854 in Michigan. Also known as the GOP, the Republican Party is widely established and one of the oldest existent political parties. The basic beliefs of the Republican Party include support for free market capitalism, social Conservative principles, free enterprise business, strong emphasis on deregulation, restrictions on labor unions, and lower taxes. Many Republicans oppose higher taxes for higher earners, support individual liberty and responsibility, and believe in the principle of less government intervention and more private spending.

PARTY STANCES
October 6th:
The Republican Party believes that the United States should help other countries in vaccine efforts, however, it is a priority to vaccinate our country first, for those who want to be vaccinated. Although there are contradicting opinions within the party regarding the COVID vaccine, the Republican Party supports free-market capitalism, and for many businesses, COVID-19 has impacted sales and has caused many businesses to close down. In order for businesses to continue on in a more normal fashion, vaccines will need to be distributed to promote international affairs. Therefore, the Republican party believes vaccines will need to be distributed, but there is a need to protect our own country’s people first.
